This is what the PGA TOUR is all about. Watch the video above to see how it all unfolded at the 2012 WGC-Bridgestone Invitational. It looked like Furyk and Oosthuizen were going to make it a 2-man race early on, but Keegan Bradley kept right on their tails. The highlight of the tournament came on Sunday’s 16th hole when Oosthuizen, Bradley, and Furyk all made crucial birdies (playing in the same group).
The final hole came down to Bradley and Furyk. Both missed their approaches. Furyk then hit a poor lob that didn’t reach the green. Bradley blasted out of the greenside bunker to 15 feet or so. Bradley, with his crazy stare, nailed his putt for par. Furyk made a terrible effort, jam-pushing it past the hole and made a double-bogey. Bradley shot an amazing 64 on Sunday to capture his 3rd PGA TOUR victory and 1st World Golf Championship (O, and $1.4 mil).
Tiger jumped up the leaderboard on Sunday with a nice round of 66. A mediocre start kept him from contending this week but he still finished Tied for 8th.
