At the young age of 23, McIlroy dominates again in his second career major victory at the 2012 PGA Championship. Rory shot 66 on Sunday to break Jack Nicklaus’ record for margin of victory at the tournament with his 8-shot win over runner-up David Lynn. Ian Poulter made a strong run at McIlroy early on Sunday to get within 2-shots, but he faltered on the back nine and finished T-3rd.
When Rory brings his A-game, he seems to be the only guy right now that can separate himself in majors. This win launched him back to the #1 ranked golfer in the world and much more is expected from this young gun.
